Our Policies

Scheduling appointments

To allow proper time for your visit our office requires an appointment. If your pet is in need of immediate care we can accommodate emergencies during office hours. Emergency situations are our top priority and we appreciate your understanding if an emergency causes a delay in your appointment time.

Patient arrival at Confederate Woods

To minimize any stress during the time of their visit we require that all dogs be leashed and properly controlled while in the waiting area or exam rooms. All cats must also be in an appropriate cat carrier or on a leash.

If your pet requires additional care

Following the examination of your pet, the veterinarian and staff will prepare an estimate of the approximate cost of any services, procedures, tests, drugs, and supplies required to treat your pet. This fee estimate will reflect only the initial diagnostic and treatment plan and may change, based on your treatment decisions. Treatment of your pet is determined by your decision, with consideration of your own financial resources. You have the right to decline any or all treatment suggested by our staff for your pet.

 Payment terms

We require full payment when services are rendered. Cash and checks are always accepted. A $35 processing fee will be applied for any check that is not able to be processed by the bank. For your convenience, we also accept MasterCard, Visa, Discover, and CareCredit.
